With Windows 7 and Office 2010 going end of life in 2020, many businesses are now starting to plan to move off the platforms. This is in order to remain secure while also boosting productivity all for a lower total cost of ownership. With potentially 1000’s of applications running over a diverse set of hardware and drivers, a major risk when upgrading to Windows 10 or Office 365 is compatibility.
The Insight Modern Desktop Assessment can help you understand, in advance of potential migrations, where your considerations need to be for ensuring a smooth transition and minimising end user disruption.
Chris has been working for Insight for 12 years and for the last 7 years, he has been involved in Microsoft services and licensing in both a consultant and manager role. He currently manages the UK Connected Workforce team who are responsible for helping clients understand the Microsoft 365 cloud portfolio and what value it can bring to their business.
Elliott is a Modern Workplace Specialist focusing on the entire Microsoft 365 stack and prior to this Elliott was part of Microsoft Consulting Services specialising in Office 365 and Security & Compliance. Elliott has been a resource working closely with Insight UK for the past 8 months on two separate projects. Most recently we have been collaborating and building out the opportunity around the Modern Desktop Assessment. The Modern Desktop Assessment program is an opportunity to open discussions with customers, break down blockers around a shift away from Windows 7 and perpetual Office versions
